Our experts coordinated assessments across multiple sites within a defined timeframe.
In a separate engagement, a council of governments initiated an area-wide study of 200 parcels as part of a Brownfields Pilot program over a 12-month period. The objective was to support the development of underutilized land and assist property owners in obtaining loans for the cleanup of polluted soil and groundwater across 11 cities adjacent to a freeway corridor.
Our experts organized the environmental assessments into three phases and clustered the target sites. This approach increased efficiency across the program and enabled the client to reduce costs.
For the area-wide study, our team conducted evaluations and prepared staff reports for 200 parcels. The findings provided the client with information to prioritize the next phase of the program and supported efforts to encourage development and assist property owners in securing cleanup funding.
