Forensic expert Ben Daee, PhD, P.Eng, PE, will present a session on the "Common Risks & Claims Arising from Solar Projects" at this year's Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Canada Conference on September 15th.
Solar power is the fastest growing source of electricity worldwide among all types of renewable energy sources. But as utility-scale solar projects expand across North America, they bring unique technical and legal challenges.
In this session, Ben will explore the risks, claims, and lessons learned from early solar developments, including litigation trends and best practices for risk mitigation in the rapidly evolving solar industry.
