Paula Essick specializes in forensic accounting and the analysis of economic damages. With over 30 years of experience, Paula provides consulting and expert services, analyzing commercial insurance claims and offering litigation support. Paula has been appointed an Appraiser and measures damages related to various areas, including business interruption, cyber, employee theft, product liability, and property.
Paula has worked with insurers, attorneys, and companies across diverse industries, developing a deep understanding of their operations and accounting systems. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to explain findings clearly to all audiences.
Her expertise in Management Information Systems (MIS) software, data mining, and creative presentation skills contribute to successful client outcomes. Paula has presented on business income, extra expenses, and Builder's Risk.
She is involved in consulting, in-house presentations, continuing education, staff training, and representing J.S. Held at recruitment fairs. Paula has consulted on major loss assignments in agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail industries.
