Rosemary Kress has been active in art, auction, and appraisal since the early 1990s, starting at Freeman's in Philadelphia. Over the past 15 years, she has specialized in insurance appraisals of textiles and weavings, focusing on antique and semi-antique Persian, Caucasian, Chinese, and European rugs, tapestries, and ethnographica for pre-loss and post-loss valuation.
